School Excuse
After speaking with local public schools and private schools that serve many of our families, we are confident in letting you know that a dental visit is still recognized as a necessity for children's health and well-being. In fact, the attendance offices at the local public schools accept a doctor's note from dental appointments as an excused tardy or absence. As parents and dental professionals, Dr. Jackson and our entire team at Pediatric Dental Specialists of Atlanta understand the balance between academic demands and scheduling dental visits for children. Please rest assured that we will continue to provide your family with a Doctor's Note for each dental visit. Should you request a personalized letter, we are also happy to provide one for you. We hope this gives you peace of mind as you balance the needs of your family. We partner with you in providing excellence in care, as all of our children need to be able to focus on academic endeavors with a clear and healthy mind.
