Robin R. Rust – Accounts Manager/ Team Leader
Robin has been with Pediatric Dental Specialists of Atlanta since April 2008. She began her career in 1989 as a registered dental assistant, and after receiving her degree from the University of Michigan, has enjoyed many years of general, pediatric dental and orthodontic assisting. Robin has worked as a dental lab technician, dental business manager and insurance coordinator for many years. She is well-versed and capable of answering any question you may have about our office policies, billing and insurance, treatment and payment plans and scheduling. Nanette Harris – Front Office
Nanette has been a vital part of our team since September 2008. She has degrees from both Georgia State and DeVry Universities, in Psychology and Health Information Technology, and has utilized them well in the dental profession for over 30 years. Nanette’s field of concentration is in all areas of orthodontic procedures where she has excelled in assisting her patients to achieve happy, healthy smiles. She has much experience in dental office procedures and has the clinical knowledge necessary to assist our patients and their families in any way. She is looking forward to being of service. Arlene L. McMillian – Front Office
Arlene is the newest member of our team and as our receptionist, hers will be the first smile you see when you visit us. Arlene is married with two beautiful daughters. She and her husband live in Marietta. Arlene enjoys jogging, gardening and spending quality time with her family. She received her certificate in Dental Assisting from Louisiana State University and has many years of clinical experience in orthodontics, as well as general dentistry. Natalie Aristide – Registered Dental Hygienist
Natalie has been with our practice since January 2006. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Columbus Technical College, in Columbus Georgia. She was born in the Ukraine and is fluent in several languages – English, Russian and Ukrainian. Natalie loves children very much and has an exceptional aptitude for helping them to feel comfortable in the dental chair. Her gentleness is especially exhibited in her care of our nervous, scared or special needs patients. Natalie lives here in Atlanta, where she enjoys spending time with her friends and her church family. She was just recently married in November of 2009.
Tarra Nix – Registered Dental Hygienist
Tarra has been with our practice since December 2006. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Central Georgia Technical College, in Macon Georgia. She enjoys working with children and teaching them the importance of good oral hygiene, as well as comforting those who tend to be more nervous about “going to the dentist.” Tarra is committed to creating a positive atmosphere where children can feel at ease and be able to enjoy their dental experience. In her free time, Tarra enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
Victoria Flood – Certified Dental Assistant
Victoria has been an integral member of our team since 1986. She has worked in the dental field for 35 years in all of the dental specialties. She particularly enjoys Pediatric Dentistry, however, and excels at putting children and their parents at ease before, during and after dental procedures. Victoria attended the University of Michigan and the University of Florida, where she received degrees in both Dental Assisting and Early Childhood Development. She also enjoyed a three year career as a Special Education Teacher in Florida. Victoria lives in Ellijay with her husband and family.
Karen Thompson – Certified Orthodontic Technician/ Dental Assistant
Karen has been in the dental profession for over 25 years, and with our practice for the last 14. She received a teaching degree, in Early Childhood Development, from the University of Georgia, and was a teacher for one year. It was during this time that she realized her love for dentistry and attended Gainesville Junior College to receive her Orthodontic Technician Certification. Karen is a vital member of our team. She is an orthodontic dental technician, and she also owns her own orthodontic laboratory. Karen lives in Alpharetta where she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
